Almost every photographer that I met in Singapore and elsewhere, you can say their work being repeatative. we will usually shoot in the style we are most comfortable with. Hence, we will repeat ourselves. And I am directing this straight at 99% of the pros. If they feel this is an insult, then I will stand by my words and insult them.
What is key is, now and then, we do need to get out of our comfort zone, and do something different. The end result of these foray into the unknown, well, to each their own.
To say your works are repetative now is an oxy moron statement becasue we have not seen enough of your work to make such judgement. To say your work is too safe, well, I will say this much, if they are really meant to b safe oictures, they will not likely be a dance series.
To whoever said what was said, I will say this to them, "I think your woks is repetative and boring, too safe! So, what are you going to do about it?"
Really nothing the person can do, becuas it's a stupid statement. You can't react and response to a stupid statement.
