the 4th pics is the best. The rest the framing is a bit beyond me....but like you say Arty Farty! Smiley I do feel a bit of fill flash should help.

Dont really like fill in flash for some occasions. Spoils the mood of the picture or destroys the ambient light.

The framing is horrible....maybe u should  try shooting at normal level, your shots are usually either too high or too low angle... that given
1 n 4 work for me... the rest.... ..... ......

I think you still can fill flash without killing the ambient. Manual Flash control I guess. But that day I choose to blast the flash to get maximum details of the people there. Smiley

I suppor the decision not to use fill flash.
Shadows and the mood spoilt does no good to the photo.

Tho I dont really like the cropping in some of the photos....
