Hi Guys,

After the recent photoshop seminar I'm all juiced up about for the SW.

Will any kind hearted soul recommend me a good book on the basic of Photoshop CS 2?
I'm been looking around and found loads of them but just wan't sure which one is good.

BTW, whats the different bewteen element and CS?

Appreciate any advice.

From my experience, elements gives you basic editing functions, but more effects, gallery and etc. While CS gives you the full range of editing fuctions.

similar. elements is the basic neccessities are included.

let's see...

Elements
- no history brush
- no pen tools
- no color sampler
- no curves
- no color balance
- no channel mixer
- no layer masks
- no fill opacity
- no actions or batch process

but it has some stuffs photoshop doesnt have...
- reduce noise filters
- auto controls camera raw
- photo bins
- ability to process multiple files with single click
- easy straighten image tool
- easy remove colour cast option
- simple quick fix mode
- red eye removal...

that's about it... AFAIK.
