Another cute kitten up for adoption at Mutts and Mittens. A young (1 month? ) female temporarily named Ayoka (means wild spirit).

The compulsory portrait shot

And showing another side to her personality. She is REALLY fast and was like a little furball on some kind of ecstasy so if you wanna adopt her be prepared for it.

She is still a sweet little kitten though. For more details please call Mutts and Mittens at 6583 7371/6583 7372.

More pics taken yesterday. This time we have 3 puppies. They were born out in the streets and have been taken to Mutts and Mittens where their stay is being sponsored by some kind souls. They are all pretty wary of strangers but can be very affectionate. They are a difficult to expose right because of their almost all black/white coats.

Joy and Floe (females) - Floe is the most outgoing and Joy the liveliest. Joy is a little apprehensive as she just got bathed and was cold.

Puteh (male) - The most bo chap of the lot. He even let Floe walk all over him (literally)

Group shot. I guess I could have done better but its hard to expose for both black and white puppies at the same time ;p

And who can forget little Toby. Here he is again about 3 weeks after I last shot him. The fur has grown back nicely.

All pics shot with a 18-55 kit. This lens can perform if needed and given enough light. That's all for now. Thanks for viewing.

Molly - An adorable little border collie. She was 'rescued' from a home that dint really want her and is in the care of a VERY patient fosterer. Always full of energy (like all border colies), she demands a very high level of stimulation and TONS of exercise.

"This is my good side"

"Please?"

All pics taken with a 18-55 kit lens.

hmm...just an observation raptor, some of the photos tend to be lacking catchlights...gives the doggies a lifeless feeling... Smiley

In most of the dog pics the catch lights are kinda small(molly's first, 2 black puppies) as my flash is pointed upwards with no bounce card. The only catchlights you see are what's reflected off the ceiling (the 3 puppes, molly's second shot, toby). This is why i prefer to shoot outdoors as much as possible cause of all the natural catchlights hehe..

More exercise with my 17-40 today. Wink

Some cats just wonder why you are stalking them with that large hunk of glass and go "WTH is that"

She sufferers form a rare condition which causes fluid build up behind her cornea giving her eyes that marbled look. She has the sweetest temperament although she has her moods. And yes she is blind...

Finally my 70-200 gets some use. I still love this focal range more than the wide end, so much easier to control the composition. sharper than the 17-40 too..

Toby - :\
At 7 months old and full of attitude Cheesy Little Toby has grown much in character but not much in size. I think this scowl captures just what he thinks of having a portrait session.
