Just got the above focusing screen....so much easier to do manual focus. Wonder why Canon do not fit their cameras with this screen as default?

hi, i'm just curious. with split screen installed the LEDs are gone but will there be the usual "beep" sound when the lens is manually focused to subject?

all the LEDs are still there. but I think for some models such as 350D (not sure about the other xxxD series) the LEDs no longer visible or something.

It is a bloody pity that changable screens are limited for any other series except 1D/s

Yah, I wonder why they limit it. Anyway, I think there are 3rd party focusing screens right?
