RAW probably saved most of my shots. Av mode was unpredictable, M mode was tough cos half the pitch was in shadows while the other is in bright sunlight.

Yeah I got that sort of problems too during sports day...and I learn to appreciate 1D3's dynamic range and 14bit color dept...I can really "pull" back the details and colors!

good exposure balance, clarity, color and sharpness is good.  this place is problematic because of the wall behind
