Well.. this 'new' Acer - i think i bought in one of those PC/IT/Comex show so timeframe either Sept/Dec 2008.
First it freeze, stop suddenly or hang while i was accessing facebook or itune software.
Reboot, got blue screen. Next reboot, got a prompt to repair or safe boot. Select safe boot but did not boot up successfully.
Then reboot again, select repair but hang half way after attempting to seemingly repair.
Boot again.... dead..no video input.. Boot again...still dead..only cpu fan is running and DVD ROM light blink.
Call helpdesk..and wait.......

Sounds very drama....like choy, just replace his old PC with a 8 Core CPU! Total cost :$2.5K comes with 3x 1.5TB HD RAID 3GB RAM and 8 Core CPU!!!!
BTW, Evershine....free to shoot some dance during the weekend or even weekday evening?

for those who wants to know, I got the new Core i7 920 which is actually quad core, but it has hyper threading as well so in Task Manager they actually shows up as 8 CPUs
and I also got those 1.5TB Barracuda SATA disk for only $210, considering that only 3-4 years back 400GB for going for $400!
