look at the scale of the textures on small parts such as the components on wheel rims, tyre surface texture, etc. if it is a small size toy the texture will not be so small.

actually is how many hair on the prawn hehe.
actually you should also be able to tell by the DOF. might not be very scientific but should be able to "sense"?
