i had one. it's called a dot matrix printer. very very  VERY noisy.

not all printers that use ribbons are dot matrix hor  Neh Neh  Group Wave

and they are quiet, relatively  giggling...

all i can remember was that it's epson, it comes on those uber long parallel ports and it's uber dotted.

noisy is noisy, one end of hse, the other end can hear.

the rest of the stuff like model, dunno n dun care. pages per minute? how about page per minutes?

band printers also use ribbons, and if you had heard those, you would think your epson whispers 

matrix and band printers don't count by page per minute, as the printing is done line by line. the common ones does 600-1200 lines per minutes.

FYI, you could save the $ and buy an ipod microphone then use the ipod to record Cheesy
