The flash seems a bit harsh....should increase ISO and let the flash have the fill in effect rather then the illumination effect.

Vic, thanks. Yeah, i guess i should have used iso800 instead of 400.  Furthermore i didn't bounce the flash. Just wanted to test/practise.

always bounce... esp for weddings... uless its  intended effect. if not it will looke very point n shoot no matter how u do it...

for the last pic... if u cropping was a little more forwrad and to the right... perhaps it could be better... looking at the situation it has a very high chance of being a classic award winning shot...

ukay, thanks..  wah.. ok.. i got the point..about direct flash.. i thought the difference is not that much...  they kept shouting "huat ah !" What has wedding to do with "huat ah??"

Usually in weddings....even if I am not the main photographer, I will still fight for the sweet spot!  I will not shoot behind other photographers.

I did "fight" for some sweet spots.  The latest post was a snapshot last resort to show the overall situation. I had a shot of this champagne pouring when i was standing on the far left but my friend's head was partially covered by his hand and the bottle. So i changed location.. i could not get any better sweetspot Undecided.
