One of the worst movie of the year!
If you factor in expectation, this is definitely one that did not live up to the hype!
John Woo should not be allowed to stray from crime thrillers like "A Better Tomorrow" or "Face Off".
There were so much wrongs with Red Cliff, my fingers will cramp if I have to type them all out.
Here is just a list of what went wrong.
Bad script adaptation and screenplay ...
Bad character development ...
Bad dialog, inconsistent styles some modern, some hip, some ancient, some shit ...
Bad action/fight sequences and scenes, repeating same moves over and over again, inconsistent styles ...
Bad story telling ...
So so cinematography
