Hoya diversifolia, native to Singapore and found growing wild on Pulau Ubin. Unfortunately none of the single flower close-ups are tack sharp, because I had to stand on an ant trail in order to get close to the flower.

So you were in odd position and unable to use tripod?  Unique flower. Can this be found in botanic garden?

I dun have those super duper contorting tripods, mine is too heavy to lug around this kind of places Smiley so just hand hand plus most of the time you can't achieve critical focus in such conditions because there is too much wind.

BTW the two flash were held by two "flash holders" who after a while start to lose attention and could not keep the flash pointing where they should, hence the uneven lighting  Roll Eyes

plus the vicious ants on the floor discouraged me from going back for a few more shots

You have not answered my question leh.... " Can this be found in botanic garden?"

Yes i recalled how i tried to shoot a macro and there's wind blowing non stop. That time i had the opportunity to try the 180mm macro lens. Was my first time shooting macro and somemore 180mm!  My shots almost all haywire.... couldn't tell from my small LCD.  focusing and handhold was almost impossible especially f/8 and below with 180mm without enough light.
