AlienBees have their own wireless triggers now as well, claiming to have the reliability of the pocketwizards, yet costing 1/3rd the price with a range of 400 feet. as for such products like the radio poppers and alien bees, i'll be reserving my judgement until more reviews come out.
things to worry:
1) reliability (will it always fire in rain or shine, with a wall or building in between)
2) sync (will it always sync all e time?)
i'll be keeping my cash in the pocket till then

tried so many radio recievers, and only one brand works... only one. and that is pocket wizard. No other can compare and no other comes even close.
