The problem with using one small strobe is that, light fall off is inevitable, but that can work in your favor and not. Here, not.

You sure have a knack for choosing "interesting" "models"...
The styling is
... I would like to see more interesting make-up. The dress is nice, the setting is nice, even the poses are okay (though it's obvious that she isn't quite committing to it), but her face totally ruins the picture.

define interesting!
Mandy has grotesquely obese lips, sad eyes, and doesn't commit to the poses. (I would seriously hate to see her in act-cute poses.)
Naomi has zero ass (and you shot her in panties?!?
), though she may be the prettiest model you've shot that I've seen.
Jocelyn has buck teeth and spiky false eyelashes. (You guys ought to start telling these girls to peel that shit off! Also, those who know me well know that I am a stickler for nice teeth.)
Shirley has no waist, a man face, and cannot pose.
Diana is okay looks-wise (though she could use some assistance in the make-up department because her face looked patchy), but cannot pose worth a shite.
I want to say more, but the photos in the other threads aren't working... Took them off your Flickr?
However, to your credit, you seem to find these girls who aren't popular models yet but have potential in the CS community.
*I'm not supermodel either, but I fully utilize the tools available to improve one's appearance, i.e. gym, make-up, strategic poses, and tasteful styling!

mandy: i think its my fault regarding the lips. i thought they look good except she wasnt wearing anything on them and they were chapped. sad eyes better than dead fish look right?
naomi: if u like exotic (read weird) looking chicks, i guess u can say naomi is pretty.
then again, my friends always tell me i got weird taste.
jocelyn: buckteeth is the epitome of kawaiiness!
shirley: ok. that one i know but friend wanted to shoot so i just tagged along.
diana: that one my friend. not model. just ask her to let me practice abit.
some of the pics were taken down and redid. forgot to post them up again or they just didnt make it after a 2nd look at it.
can i be a talent scout then?
