OK, as most of you know, I'm probably the most sua-ku-ku when it comes to the latest and greatest.
I was just wondering ... does the Canon 18-month product cycle apply to the 1 ser cams?
If so, about when is the 1D Mk IV targeted to arrive?
I'm just curious to see if they will have the AF issues settled by then, or will the release of the IV be delayed.
Actually, I won't expect anything earth-moving, but a once-and-for-all settled AF straight outta the factory would be nice.

When was the MkIII released?
It seems like ages already...but I guess it could be because of the barrage of crap and problems with the AF that makes it seem so old and tired already.

pro bodies shld be 24mth cycle. the 1dmk3 came out in feb 07. so u shld be looking at least feb 09 or later. note that the 1dmk2n came out before the cycle to make an appearance for olympics.
