For those who may be interested in Astronomy and Stargazing, there is an event organised by the Marine Parade CC Astro Club this coming Saturday.
Details can be found in the attached link:
http://www.singastro.org/viewtopic.php?t=6015Come by if you have nothing better to do. You will be surprised tha starring at the sky can be quite interesting and surprising. There wil be ample telescopes there for viewing and there
may be some set up for imaging.
Also there will be another major Astronomy Conference on 16 August at the Singapore Art Museum. It is going to be a whole day affair with talks on Astronomy. There will be a display of various telescopes. Singapore largest telescope will be there (and it is privately owned and portable) and it is bigger that the one at the Singapore Science Centre Observatory. Observing sessions of the sun(day) and Jupiter(night) is also part of the programme.
I will update on the event once the programme is confirmed. Meanwhile feel free to drop by this coming Saturday's event.
