Any explanation to the 3 digits at the back of the plane type? Different variants of the same model?

First digit is aircraft model - 777-200 or 777-300.

The last 2 digits are customer codes. Singapore Airlines is 12. Japan Airlines is 46. ANA is 81.

I was just thinking the same thing!

The pix are all so serenly clear and beautiful! Sigh...with atmosphere like that, no need for super expensive Lenses Liao.  giggling...

Ever notice how in some other places of the world, photos turn out so much nicer, and the unbelievably blue skies even without polarisers?

Cause their skies have no clouds, revealing the blue atmosphere underneath.

The glass was one big polariser.

The Japanese businessman on my right thought i was nuts shooting planes with a 1dmk2 and 24-70L tethered to my mac.
