I realised that more than half the idiots on the island aren't taking this situation seriously. They think it's funny that the guy escaped and are more concerned about who made the apology and stuff. Come on. This fella is not your neighbourhood hooligan. He's a fucking terrorist cell leader. Prft.

The thing now that they have to establish is whether he is still in the country or not.
Actually, shouldn't they have a tag on him or something so that they can track him down if he escapes as he did?

The truth be told, I'm more interested to know whether dogs were deployed in tracking down the target. Their efficiency is higher than any tech I've known.

GPS is not a really foolproof tracking device because first it does not work under cover, two you still need a transmitting mechanism. heavy duty tracking is always accomplished by a beacon,  with optional GPS data embedded in the beacon message.
