Cathay Photo has done another U-Turn this time.
Dropping prices of their Mamiya CF Tripods to $485 and claimed it was the lowest so far?
Well, it's now $375!!!
Don't bother buying it. It's a lousy piece of crap.
For that matter, don't bother getting any tripod/ballhead from that worthless old salesman.

yeah. he got a attitude problem. i was there yesterday. he ranted on n on abt someone who bought a joby pod and it didn't work. not a good sales person.
but he does have share his experience if u can take his long winded stuff long enough. old ppl are like that. just look at dp.

the fella was hollering "cheapest in town"
and irritating me all the time with his ranting of the specs of the tripod
he finally shut up when i told him i found a place selling that damned tripod at a cheaper price

I got it for $400 over a year ago, the CP jacked up the price....
It's really not the best tripod out there. It's damn stable, but operation sucks. For travel use, damn good. It's very light, compact, nothing to snag things .... why is it a piece of crap? Again, diff to operate.

The $375 is their offering of the larger, bigger tripod. Not their smaller one. That still remains $485.
