Visited the airshow on the 20/02/08, shots taken with 40D with 70-200 f2.8 IS. As this is my first time shooting an air display, please comment on the composition, thank you.

With the pilots having their own flying routine, I guess there isn't much we can do to arrange it. Nonetheless, the images are sharp and tracking is on target.

Maybe let me rephrase, all the shots were heavily cropped, so I were wondering did I crop correctly.

#2. If you could crop with a 15 degree counter clockwise rotation. Push the planes to the bottom right corner.

#7. No problems with this one. A good one.

#8. Cropping on the right is a bit too tight.

Composition wise, the shots are pretty much the cliche we see everywhere.The shots don't have much faults on their own, but then we've seen pretty much of them around.Nice pictures still.
