oops sorry I don't know why the EXIF were stripped. I'll reload them later.

I think in general I try to keep within ISO 800 and 1/160s. That's the main reason for the 50/1.2 as it allows wide open (although a bit soft) in harsh light. the 50/1.4 would flare like crazy.

I think 1/160sec is too slow for dance leh...

yeah 1/160s will have some blurring at the extremities, which is sometimes ok if you want some sense of motion.

I think you need a MIII, cos MII do not AF well in low light....MIII AF at -1EV which is solid....significantly faster... Very Good

MKII and 20D belongs to the same generation....DigicII. MIII,40D, 450D are of a diff generation. Noise handling and DR is way better....

but still MkII AF much better than 20D due to the better AF sensors, and even a 20D can AF better than the newer 400D in low light.

I have used 20D, 40D, they both AF better in low light condition when compared to MII (not talking about accuracy). 20D and 40D AF at -0.5EV while MII can only AF at 0EV...anything less then that it will hunt like xiao...

Check this out : http://www.digitaljournalist.org/issue0512/westfall.html

Quote from Chuck Westfall:

"The pixels on the 45-point AF sensor are much smaller than those on the 9-point AF sensor, and one inevitable result of this difference is superior low-light sensitivity for the 9-point sensor. This is reflected in the specifications for each camera, which state the 20D's AF sensitivity at EV -0.5 compared to EV 0 for the 1D Mark II N."
