Hey Guys,

Sorry if this seems like a real noob question. I have been out of the market for stuff like this for some time, and have no idea what the scene's like now.

Could you recommend a good (reliable) replacement battery for the Canon BP 511/A batteries, how much do they cost and where can I get them, please?

I used to buy the Eastgear ones at around $25/piece IIRC, but they were kinda hit n miss affairs after awhile.

Those are Sterlingtek which cost about $20+ a piece. Its a jekyl n hyde

Thanks for the heads-up Michael.

I wouldn't mind spending a little more ard $30 - $35 / piece if they're reliable. Is that a realistic price?

Any recommendations as to what, and where, preferably locally? If not, online also can lah.

Say if order 5 pieces, will be 11.99 x 5 = 59.95

Based on previous shipping experience, for this weight, should be ard US$20-$30 USPS Priority Mail International, cheaper if not priority, but so far, I've used Priority many times and seems to be very safe.

Max Ttl: USD89.95 x 1.409 = SGD126.73

Say x 1.45 for money xchange comm, it is = SGD130.42

If buy fm MS, SGD35 x 5 = SGD175.



Hmm ... anyone wants to combine a Mini-MO with me then we can get further cost savings off shipping.
