Didn't really plan to go to chinatown and i dun really have any external flashes so all the shots taken using 350D with kit lens...
My PS skill sux so here are the results... please do comment on how i can improve the shots...

Saw your flickr shots. I think almost all shot at 1/60s iso400.  In order to have better shots, you gotta use monopod or tripod and better lens. Also try 2nd curtain sync and slower shutter speed to achieve other kinds of effect.

thanks for the comments... lens wise i intend to get a better one soon... i dun have a monopod yet(intend to invest in one as well)
can't open a tripod there hardly had space to even turn my camera... need to check on the 2nd curtain sync not sure where its located in the cam..
would definitely hope to improve more if there's another chance.. Grin

Second curtain sync is in the custom functions. You can try using that + a high iso to capture a little more ambient light. Also at the wide end a shutter speed of 1/30 might be enough at times Smiley
