Anyone wants a virtually brand new 70-200 f/2.8 IS with Canon SG warranty?  Laugh till drop

me wan me wan...!!! but plans were to get it only sometime in April leh.... 

so can you hold till then and since it will be not so 'brand new' by then can sell me in lower than 'mint' price boh...??  IHIH

On par, yes.Better than, that depends from copy to copy.
One thing for sure, the focussing speed is slower than the 70-200.
The lens is worth the price provided you can find a really good condition one, because the repair support for this lens is discontinued, so if you get a lens that gives you problems, its gonna cost a lot of money and effort to repair.
Besides, the 70-2002.8 non IS is going for a pretty low price as compared to before and its something really worth getting over the 80-200. Smiley

i am tempted to take all four 70-200, the f4 and f2.8, the one with IS and the one without and do a comparison test

who's willing to loan?

I'm tempted to do it for you. Afterall, I have a studio tripod sitting in one corner that's sure to rule out user error.  giggling...

Focus manually lah.  Wink  Sides, I use a split-screen focusing screen and A/V confirmation.
