Finally plucked up enough courage to post pics taken last Sunday at Pulau Ubin. Embarrassed

http://wf7850.multiply.com/photos/album/4/13012008_Pulau_Ubin_Singapore

Most not processed as my CS3 skills really sucks...! Hope to pick up pointers on framing techniques, especially how to make the shots have the 'WOW...!!!' factor.

TIA for all C&C...!  Cheesy

Hi Willy,

Not too bad actually. Try exploring different angles. Almost all your shots appear to have been taken with the camera at eye level.

Me still noob so better not comment anymore.

I like this one. The lines and symmetry. Colours look fine on my displays too. This I would love to see in print!

That's actually the more meaningful part of the journey...it's not the end that matters as much as the journey kinda thing.

I've just had the pleasure of looking at your photos again, without the advertising strip covering half your picture, and I must say that I quite enjoyed looking at some of them, like the Mangrove Boardwalk, 1st Coastal Boardwalk and the one where you used the plants to frame the ocean.

CHEERS!

p.s. Hope your 40D is better now.

encik, i think your banner doesn't give me any problems. probably just his.

House No 1 of shooting through a door is my preferred choice for frame in a frame, but i think your border is too thick Smiley
perhaps zooming in would make the porch a bit bigger and have more of an effect?

i think we should go chek jawa one day...
