Thanks guys for the kind comments.

kel,

I'm still hoping to hear your words of wisdom in this thread. But from your sharing above, sounds like you don't know much about keeping fishes, despite the years of effort. Hope you don't take this in the wrong way, but I'm very happy to share if you are interested to know more. I'm crazy about fishes and the amount we spent on them is nothing compared to the gear used to photograph them. So rest assured they won't 'return to soil' after a shoot.

Cheers,

thanks for sharing ur view also..

i have start keeping fishes as early as kindergarden...now i already cross 1/3 of my life...

jus to share my experience with u which i think is fair for me to so...
my family is in fish business for years...
i have been rearing discs for the past few years, i have been supplying the market with new breeds...but now i have stopped.
i keep fresh water fish ranging from softwater to hardwater or u call it black water to marine life...
and i used to have fighting fishes range from $2 to $100s...

well wat i mean in the previous post is after i took the photo of that 'particular' fish, it will just died the next day...
nt because i dont know how to keep them, i cant explain why a fish that i kept for 2-3 years just pass away the next day after i took the picture of it...
and it happened a few time till i give up...

talking about wisdom i also cant understand y...since u have the wisdom do u want to help me to explain why this is happening??
the last one that pass away after i took the picture of it is a lion fish.

well is up to u to believe it or not.
I am jus defending the statement or the comments u have on me assuming that i dont know how to keep fish..

no offence..
all i have provided is just for ur information...

for here, i also hope that u read the langauge properly before making assumption...

will appreicate ur efforts...

Kel,

Thanks for your reply and especially take the time to share your 'extensive' fishkeeping experience.

All I'm asking for is a clarification in the other thread. Specifically..

i pity the poor fish that is being shot at...

the flashes actually are doing alot of harm on them...

I assumed you might know something the rest of us don't. Ok. I apologise for making that assumption which i shouldn't have. Your statement just seems so factual and I wanted to find out more. Stupid me.

talking about wisdom i also cant understand y...since u have the wisdom do u want to help me to explain why this is happening??

I'm serious about my passion for fish and love to share them with anyone. If you would like to trouble shoot your tank, give us more information and I'm sure we can get to the root of the problem. Trying to tell me you keep fishes since kindergarden for about 30 years is not useful information for me to work with. Tell me about your tank, water parameters, diet and other inhabitants as well as your water change regime will probably shed more light. Incidentally, hardwater is not blackwater. This you can find more from Google, so I won't borther to explain further. If you are still keeping the fishes and need help, let's do it at www.aquaticquotient.com or www.arofanatics.com. These are my playground.

well is up to u to believe it or not.

It's okay. No need to defend, I never accused you of anything but was merely happy to see another aquarist and thought we could explore this further. My reply was but a paraphase of your own statement which I did quote in the reply. Perhaps a smiley would make a difference, but I doubt it. Obviously, offence was taken at my intent, hence the need to defend. The question on how the flash is actually doing a lot of harm to fishes still remains strangely unanswered although I do pity your fishy models. Not that the question matters now anyway. The fact is, it doesn't affect the fishes.

I'll read properly if you can spell properly.  giggling... [This is a joke, just thought I'll clarify in case you didn't realise]. Anyway, I'm here at the invitation of one of the more active member for fun and to make friends, not to engage in useless keyboard sparing. I have already apologised for my assumption steming from my enthusiasm at the begining of this post and I shall consider this case closed if you have no further issue. Otherwise, call me or PM me instead.

Back to fishes and photography.....

Cheers,
