I heard good things about this lens from uncle choy too. Anyone has comparison images to show the differences?
Cheers,

flare control is amazing, plus sharpness and colour saturation under harsh lighting at wide open is still

And the 24 mm is crap? Any 24 vs 35 mm IQ comparison?

what happened to the starting post? anyway I used benny's 24/1.4
L
also in a stage performance settings, it was a bit too wide for the purpose and I was new to those things then. but it didn't give me the same ooomph as the 35/1.4
L
did.

oh. if i were to choose, i'd get the 35/1.4 anytime...
it's nothing to do with IQ
it's got everything to do that when u first look at the picture, you go "wow."

35mm is good on FF.Not too wide and not too much distortion.

although you are looking for comparisons, let me know if you just want to see an individual photo shot on the 35L...
and i also did some checking with my trusty canon book, it seems that the lw/ph of the 24mm is a lot higher, meaning more resolution... hmmm...
