EF-S 60 mm f/2.8 Macro USM on 1Ds MK2. Uncropped. Resized to 640 pixels.

 Shocked it can fit?!?!? i was worried the rear element of the lens might hit the mirror when shutter

Just kidding. Yes it fits. Otherwise how to get the shot? EXIF data still embeded in picture.

top left flash - can see hard shadows. almost the whole image is in focus, perhaps it was aimed at the face... no catchlight in his eyes (lol) i think the cross placed the other way around from top left to bottom right would be better as the parallel lines from the table just blends in...

Yeah. Lighting and composition is not ideal. This is shot off the table which my computer is on just a while ago. Just a quick grab shot. Perhaps I'll try to get some nice fishes when I have the time later this month.

Time to replace your mirror. It is highly likely it got damaged after slapping into the EF-S extension every time the shutter was pressed.

er...in case you don't understand..... Mirror does NOT slap into the rear of the lens.

If it does, there is no pictures captured on the CMOS.

Anyway, it's just to see what's the quality of the image like outside of the 1.6X crop factor within the full frame. Perhaps a newspaper test will be better to gauge the image quality.

the only lens worth mounting if it can is the 10-22mm. super duper wide angle!  Group Wave
