Still....Canon had better be scared shitless by the D3 and D300 such that they'll come out with BETTER...AND CHEAPER cameras. Angry

Since the lastest buying craze, I really cannot afford to change system.

The best thing that happen is the launch of the D3 and D300.  With the pending launch of Sony's FF camera, there will finally be serious challengers to Canon.

Very interesting results indeed...especially the bit about them testing using a telescope Grin At least that gets rid of the lens variable....seems like the Canon sensor has very high resolving power...a result of higher pixel density Huh Since Canon is known to have a stronger resolution robbing AA filter in some of their cameras...

Sigh ...

The authors/members of the Lexus forum apparently did send out the link to their test to other forums, as well as review boards. Quite a bit of resistance to the info is apparent, as well as attackes on the technicalities, test methods and even the honesty/integrity of the test/tester tester, and their replies.

Well, the war will never end....Canon Supporter will say Mark 3 better and Nikon Supporter will say otherwise. Even if they proof that the D3 is indeed inferior to 1Dm3, they will say pixel density is diff, so cannot compare!
