Spiranthes sinensis, a genus of orchids known for its spiralling inflorescence, the flower is terribly small, around 2mm across I think (did not measure!)

shot with EF 100mm ƒ/2.8 Macro at 1:1 and cropped a bit more!!!

BTW to soothe Suzanne, this plant is widely dispersed in the Eastern Asian continent but only above 1000 metres elevation. It is very rare at our lowland altitude, and in fact, the owner grows this plant in a wine cooler box!!!

so sorry hor Suzanne have to stand one side  giggling...

Grow this in wine cooler box?  hmmm... interesting.. so how long it takes to grow?  Did he grow this for the purpose of selling?
