the bokeh is the first picture is good. Then I am always a sucker for good bokeh.
All 4 pictures, the lighting is very flat, boring. If these were taken during an orgy, well, not a whole lot you can do, but a large reflector, esp in the first picture, will do wonders.
The first 2 pictures, the styling really sucked. That vest is not meant to be worn over an white t-shirt. But if she insists, at the very least, get one that is tight fitting!!! I really hate it when stupid models and organisers in Singapore concoct such idiotic styling combination to hurt or senses.
Btw, when did the model has the same facial expression in all 4 pictures?
Please dont amputate her extremities next time. (pic 1 and 3)

With that hip-hop-style outfit she could do more dynamic poses... A bit too "safe" liao.
You should have given her more direction. She looks quite bored. Why did she not smile? Bad teeth?
Poor lighting in #1, 2, 4. If overcast weather, could shoot her indoors mah.

the pic taken with the 135. pretty happy with it but picture still seems abit soft. may send it in to be calibrated.
i am working with a small circular reflector. meaning to get a bigger one but lacking the time to do so. my helper also not sure of how to hold the reflector.
i thought of asking her to wear just the vest but ...
yeah. she has limited facial. working on it to get her to give different expressions.
sorry for cropping out her arms and legs.

she is actually a dancer. she can pose pretty well but it didnt turn out right with what she was wearing. the clothes made it looked like she has a tummy.
she's actually very tense because its her 2nd shoot and the first photog didnt helped by creeping her out.
u know girls don't like smiling cos of the cheeks thing ...
yeah. overcast. was raining just before the shoot.

Well, first of all, you should have told her straight up that the outfit makes her look fat. I do it all the time and it works like wonder. She will change outfit, adjust outfit, do whatever, faster than a speeding bullet.
Well, again, you are not the other stupid photographer that creeped her out. If she was really so tramatized, she will not be there posing for you!!! And it's your job to make her relax. Whatever it takes to GET THE IMAGE.
I really do nto care what a girl thinks. first of all, all most none of them knows what looks good in a picture. And nearly none of them look good pouting. And beside, there are many different facial expressions, other than smiling and whatever you call this one.

Hmmm... She seems like a nice subject to work with.
English speaking or Mandarin? I suck at the latter.
