I find it quite easy to use and nice to hold too. I didn't use the liveview. My purpose was to try to capture some good shots of these animals.  Especially those that require more than 200mm. I reviewed the shots using DPP, the quality is good.  Personally i think the clarity and color of the photo still not as good as Canon top end 600mm or 300mm lens and 1D MkII.

This is within my Canon 100mm F/2 lens...  Cheesy
