Well, before coming to Singapore, I always shoot alone even I knew lots of photogrpaher in the US.

Then discover mass orgy shoots, and shot alot.

After a very short while, I discovered that, I still rather shoot alone of with at most one other photographer.  Sometimes, it's great to have someone to bounce ideas around.

maybe with another 1-2 guys. not 5-6 ppl. nothing to learn there unless ppl offering help. its a every man for himself shoot.

for serious shooting, 3 guys max!!! must also get model for at least 4 hours, 5 will be better, that way, each gets 90 minutes +/- of one to one time with the model.  otherwise, too hurried ....

wow, 90 min at a go. do you have some plans on what you're going to do or you merely do as impromptu?

Well... when you shoot a model, you normally have a series of ideas that you want to capture. There's some slight planning involved in the brainstorming but lots of adjustments will be made on site depending on lighting/visual obstructions/hazards or whatever.

DP: Will email you the stuff for Leanna later.

today i found out that paid models will want to see how good you are even though they are not doing it for free.  Cry

and the best part is they don't even bother looking at your work and reject outright.

like that i think i can don't bother looking for paid models until i am good enough. then they shld be paying me to shoot them.  Roll Eyes

Well, the problem with TFCD is, for newbies, the blind leading the uninititated, bad combination.

There is in fact an arguement about organised shoot, especially with the better organisers.  One came to mind, that is.

Such shoot, you will learn a little beit, but you also develop relationships with models and other photographers.  These realtionships will be quite useful when you strike out on your own, looking to arrange  shoots.
