But at eye level you get alot of distracting background..I'd prefer to shoot higher up to get rid of those.Eye level shots are not a need for me I guess...its all down to personal preference I guess =)

but the pitch is not very big, with very little bordering space unlike a football field. I think it is difficult to get rid of the background.

in fact for some of the rumble tumble at close range it might even be good to go low for an in-your-face first-person feel.
