Shoot me for asking this.

Is there a wireless trigger for the Canon flash + camera?

Off shoe cord is still irritating.

Pocket Wizard is a radio trigger.
ST-E2 is an IR trigger.

Lets say, I fix the ST-E2 on my camera hotshoe and put the 580 EX2 somewhere(within sight). Will the flash still trigger? I need to set the flash to slave mode?

it's either that, or you get another flash and set it to master
