All thanks to you!!!

Glad to be of service.  Tongue

Eh, no price has been announced since both lenses are actually still in development. But i think it's safe to assume that it "won't be cheap". But here's a guess (based on B&H prices):
Canon 300mm F2.8 L IS is US$3899, Nikon 300mm F2.8 VR is US$4499. So the Nikon is roughly 15% more expensive.
Nikon 200mm F2 VR is US$3999, so if the price diff proportional to the closest alternative (the 300 F2.8s), the Canon 200mm F2 L IS would be US$3477 (let's just say US$3499), which ends up around S$5108. Consider the fact that such lenses are really overpriced here in SG (just look at the 300mm F2.8 L IS), it could possible end up around S$6500-S$7000 here in SG?

Just a guess.. please don't take it seriously.

Humm...if $7000, should I get 300mm or 200mm? The diff is $900 with 100mm more.

I would go for the 300mmf2.8.More reach.
You already have the 70-200L anyway...

For sports like Rugby and Soccer and wakeboard, 300mm is just nice. Furthermore, you are using 1.3x crop.
