Okay guys, with my current setup, and $10K what will you advice me to invest in.
I currently have :
Body : 1DM2, 10D
Lens : 16-35 F2.8L II, 24-105F4L IS, 70-200 F2.8L, 90mm F2.8 Macro
Accessories : 420EX, 580EX, 580EX II, Canon 1.4xTC, Remote Shutter Release cable, Monopod, Tripod (8kg Max weight)
Memory Card : 2 x 4GB CF (1 extreme 4), 1 x 8GB CF Micro Drive, 1 x 1GB CG 50x, 1 x 2GB extreme 3 SD card
Looking to invest in a long lens for sport photography. You can advice me to sell certain things off as well.

Well maybe sell of the 70-200 and get a 300/2.8? Your 24-105 and 16-35 can pretty much cover the rest of the range. Maybe get ext HDD for backups at home hehe
The 420ex looks pretty much redundant too...

I have so many flash is because I also use them to take school group shots. I use one 580EX as master and the rest as slaves. Yep thinking of the 300 F2.8 also. Singapore is selling at $7600 plus and US is $6600 (After 7% tax). Wondering if I should get from overseas or just from local Singapore shop. Wondering how will be warranty be like? Should I replace the 10D with 40D?

Yea that may bea good idea too since the 40D has the same amount of corss sensors as the 1dmk2
Well if you have friends who can ship it to you cheaper then go ahead
1k is quite significant savings... as for me I've decided not to upgrade for now and rent when i need

well 40D has 9 cross sensor and 1DM2 only have 7....but 1DM2 cross sensor is super sensitive even for F4 lens while the 40D can only work with F2.8 or faster lens. the new 1DM3 also only works with F2.8 or faster lens.

perhaps a 24-70/2.8L and/or reduce the 70-200/2.8L to an f/4L. I think you do a fair bit of stage and performance, a wide-to-standard fast zoom will definitely be useful.

Interesting, why move from a 70-200 F2.8L to F4L?

I figure you need a fast zoom at 24-70 more than you need it at mid tele, but if $$ no object then keep it lah!

It's obvious!
First choice ... a mint condition EF 200 f1.8L ...
if not
then settle for a EF 200 f2.8L IS
Isn't it elementry?

the 200 F2L IS USM is suppose to replace the F1.8L, price and size is about the same. But now with 4 stop IS and weather seal.
